Wendy Lobel

PRODUCER / DIRECTOR

Emmy Award-winning producer Wendy Lobel has been giving voice to the unheard for three decades as producer, director, and writer for networks such as PBS, A&E, VH1, MSNBC, TV Land, Lifetime and Nickelodeon. Wendy produced 25 documentary episodes for the critically-acclaimed kids’ series, Nick News with Linda Ellerbee, including Worried Sick: Living with Anxiety. Among her other credits are Inside TV Land: Primetime Politics (doc special), MSNBC Investigates: The Mating Game (doc special),The Power of Positivity (doc short), Women in Science & Technology and Mothers and Sons (PBS doc shorts) and Uncommon Americans (A&E doc special). Anxiety Club is Wendy's first feature documentary.

Wendy is a member of the Producers Guild of America and TV Academy and Vice President of the Angelight Films charity, which empowers children with brain tumors to create short films.

Carolin Ehrenburg

PRODUCER / EDITOR

Carolin Ehrenburg has 30 years of experience and her work has received numerous international awards, including two Emmys. Carolin grew up in Switzerland and, after working in advertising, she moved to New York in search of new challenges. She worked for several networks including PBS, Discovery, VH1, MTV and Nickelodeon. Carolin then lived in Rio de Janeiro, reporting news and creating documentaries from South America and taking on worldwide assignments in war zones and natural disasters for European broadcasters, including ARD, SRF and ARTE. Over the years, she continued working for commercial productions in NYC and LA. Her experience is extensive and diverse, and includes the doc Faces of Hope: The Kids of Afghanistan (Nickelodeon), Ni Una Menos, a doc on domestic violence in Argentina (ARTE), covering the World Cup in Brazil, Maybelline’s Anthem video (played at the Louvre) and the short James Turrell: Letting in the Light. Today, Carolin is based in Buenos Aires.

Jonathan Gray

PRODUCER

Jonathan Gray is highly regarded in the independent film community as a producer, attorney and advisor for over 25 years. His producer/executive producer credits include Beyond the Gaze: Jule Campbell's Swimsuit Issue (2024 Woodstock Film Festival), Afghan Dreamers (2023 Paramount +), El Gran Fellove (2021 Telluride Film Festival), Charm Circle (2021 Sheffield DocFest), Truman and Tennessee: An Intimate Conversation (2020 Hamptons Film Festival), Dark Night (2016 Sundance Film Festival) and Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel (2011 Venice International Film Festival). Jonathan has also acted as production counsel on hundreds of films including The Mole Agent (2021 Academy Award Nominee for Best Documentary), American Factory (2020 Academy Award Winner for Best Documentary) and Life, Animated (2017 Academy Award Nomination for Best Documentary Feature). Jonathan is a former adjunct professor at Columbia University School of the Arts.

Scott Sinkler

PRODUCER / DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Scott Sinkler has served as director of photography for documentaries such as Netflix’s Fed Up—produced by Katie Couric—and the 5-part series Turning Point: 9/11 and the War on Terror, as well as PBS’ American Masters: Decoding Watson, Ice Warriors and The People vs. Agent Orange and HBO’s An Apology to Elephants. Scott’s other DP credits include television series such as PBS’ Wide Angle, The Tony Awards Show, EGG: The Arts Show, WNET’s City Arts and City Life—for which he won two New York Emmy awards—and Bloomberg Television’s series Muse, Game Changes, Risk Takers, and Innovators. Scott has also produced and directed documentaries that have been shown in the Whitney Biennial and has a film in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. Scott's films have won more than a dozen awards at international film festivals and have aired on U.S. and foreign TV networks. He has also written for books and periodicals about documentary filmmaking.

Jeff Spivack

CO-PRODUCER

Jeff Spivack is a NYC based producer, with a background in physical production and post supervision. His projects have played at various festivals around the world including San Sebastian, Telluride, Berlinale and Woodstock. Prior to joining the Gigantic Studios team, Jeff served as the production supervisor for HBO's Reality and produced the ID podcast Mafia Tapes, which premiered in the Top Ten true-crime podcasts on both Apple Podcasts and Spotify. He also associate produced Colewell, named one of the 50 most anticipated American films of the year by Filmmaker Magazine, and co-produced El Gran Fellove, directed by Matt Dillon. Beyond managing post production at Gigantic Studios, Jeff develops non-fiction projects with his partners at the studio's sister company, Gigantic Pictures, and produces short films for New York based directors, constantly aiming to partner with new and talented filmmakers. He graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Television, Radio, & Film, and minors in Philosophy and Middle Eastern Studies.

Janelle Draper

CONSULTING PRODUCER

Janelle Draper is a comedian, writer and producer. She was named the winner of the Los Angeles based Burbank Comedy Festival and Runner-Up of the Boston Comedy Festival. She has toured the country opening for a plethora of headliners including Tiffany Haddish, Jay Leno, Mark Normand, Jessica Kirson, Jeffrey Ross, Jay Mohr, Brad Williams and Bill Bellamy to name a few. Janelle has been featured on a multitude of prestigious comedy festivals including The San Francisco Sketchfest and HBO's Women in Comedy. She is the first and only comedian to partner with Bumble, where she wrote and produced an image campaign. Formerly, Janelle worked in comedy development and production for the offbeat comedy channel, IFC, and oversaw creative marketing and digital strategies for AMC Network's streaming services, Sundance Now & Acorn TV.

 
 

Julie Sandler

IMPACT PRODUCER

Julie Sandler (she/her) is a New York-based filmmaker. She works as an Impact Producer on several documentaries, such as Cured, an Emmy-nominated film that premiered on PBS in 2021, Holding Moses, an Oscar Shortlisted film, The Lavender Scare and others. Julie is also the Associate Producer for This is This: The Incredible Journey of Weather Report, a documentary that tells the story of the jazz fusion band, Weather Report. She is a Vassar College graduate and a recipient of the David C. Magid Memorial Prize in Cinematography, which she received for her achievements in cinematography and film studies at Vassar. In addition to her work in film, Julie is also an avid actor in New York.
